Although born in Cherry Point, NC; Dr. Fenwick grew up in Leonardtown. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in 1979 and then attended Virginia Tech where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology. After just three years of undergraduate study, she was accepted to the Virginia –Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her D.V.M. degree in 1986.Upon graduation, she married and worked in Roanoke, VA for a year while her husband finished his certification in medical technology. After that they moved to Beckley, WV where she worked for a year in a mixed animal practice before returning and making their home in St. Mary’s County. She worked as an associate veterinarian at St. Mary’s Veterinary Hospital for two years before launching out on her own and opening Breton Veterinary Hospital in 1990.In addition to preventive care, Dr. Fenwick’s personal practice interests include internal medicine, dentistry and senior care. She is an active member of her church and enjoys spending quality family time with her husband Tim, and two daughters, Kristin and Erin. Outside of her busy family and practice, Dr. Fenwick tries to find time to enjoy her passions of reading, water skiing, snow skiing, running, horseback riding and playing basketball.

Michelle joined the Breton Veterinary Hospital team in the summer of 2012, and has been working in veterinary medicine since 2006. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in biology from Salisbury University in 2003. She is passionate about surgery and rescue work.In Michelle’s free time she and her husband Mark enjoy spending time on the Patuxent River on their boat and jet-ski, attending Washington Redskins games, and spending time with family. Their furry children include Cadence a mastiff mix and Crafty a yellow lab mix.

Kim graduated from CSM's Veterinary Assistant program and is looking forward to meeting you and your pet.
Kim was raised in Minnesota on a farm with many different types of animals, all of which she fell in love with. While in the military she was stationed in Patuxent River and decided to stay. She had been working in the food industry for almost 20 years and made the decision to go back to her roots and work with animals.
When not working she spends her time taking care of her 3 cats, Sylvester, Lucky, and Jelly as well as her 2 dogs, Tater and Takota both Lab mixes. She also has a blast caring for Chester Bird the Cockatoo.
LexyVeterinary Technician Assistant
Lexy graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science. Although, she started with an Equine emphasis, she quickly realized she also had a passion for companion animals and decided to do both. She is extremely excited to be working in veterinary medicine and learning to help animals in any way she can.
Lexy grew up in Weston, Massachusetts, though the majority of her family lives in the Virginia/Maryland area. She is excited to be in the Southern Maryland area and loves exploring it with her dog, Lacy, who is a Shepard Mix and her friends and family.
HannahRVT, Office Manager
Hannah moved to Southern Maryland from Norfolk, Virginia to support her husband’s Naval Career. Hannah holds a Bachelor’s in Biology and an Associate’s in Animal Science. With over 15 years working as Licensed and Registered Vet Tech in various states, Hannah’s love for animals and helping them continues to grow. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys exploring the area with her family and their dog, Lily, who is a Terrier Mix. Hannah also has a cat named Donatello Kevin.
Haley graduated from CSM’s Veterinary Assistant Program in 2016 and is currently attending pursing her Associates in Animal Science through NOVA with the end goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. Haley was born in Southern Maryland and has always had a love for all animals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three dogs, Turbo a Lab Mix, Gunner, a Beagle, and Max, a Golden Retriever. She also enjoys riding and jumping horses.
